Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. This was a great place for us to spend our 5 nights in Kyoto as it was close/walking distance from Kyoto station and had more than enough space for our family of four. We were looking for something that had ensuite laundry and a kitchenette so we could prepare our own meals, and this location had both. To make it more convenient, it would have been nice if they had a few more items in the suite like a iron/ironing board, which is usually in hotel accommodations, and a broom/mop to tidy up to the space. As well as a second mirror outside of the bathroom would have helped when four people are getting ready in the mornings, there is a second one in the shower area but that isn't convenient when the floors wet/steamed. Heads up that this location requires you pay the accommodation tax in cash at the end of the stay, which for the 5 nights was only 4000 Yen, and it was noted in expedia to expect this at each place so I wasn't surprised. Out of the 4 places we stayed at on our trip it was the only one that hadn't factored it into the expedia price and required additional money though.

First of all the elevator was not working so we had to carry the luggage and the stroller. Then the proprety was said to be accomodating for children and baby wich is not true at all. The floors were not clean and the bathroom smelled like mold. There were no chairs at all nowhere to sit except the beds. Its mentioned like it’s a hotel but not at all. We could not even stay with our baby we had to change places right away and go to an other hotel. We asked to be kindly refunded for the place especially that we did not even stay there as it was impossible with a child and our request was denied. I do not recomend this place. Very disapointed. Also there is no reception so no way to have assistance you have to wayt 24 to 48 hours…

The real problem was the crazy moldy build up in the air conditioning unit so the room smelled terribly moldy & I had a pretty rough night so if I could get a refund it would be good. There is no management on site & so no way to try & change room (& I did arrive back to my unit really late from having hiked Mt Inari which was truly amazing

Staff was helpful, laundry washer in room no dryer, balcony was cool, kitchen was tiny but has everything you need, quiet, good stay over all.

Great location! The laundry facilities were super useful. The room didn't look like the pictures but it was practical and a great price. Bed was super comfy! Could really do with a lamp in the bedroom, only light was the main room one which was very harsh. Overall great value for money

It could have been excellent, but the room had a wet dog smell. Really bad moldy smell. Everything else was excellent!

Good location but poor cleanliness in bathroom Area

This was the best place we stayed at!!! It wasn’t fancy like a high end hotel, but the unit was HUGE!!!!…an apartment!!! It had a kitchen a medium size refrigerator with an actual freezer & the best part, a washing machine in your apartment that you don’t have to pay per load!!!!! That in itself for the convenience of actually having that in your room is AMAZING!!!! Only a 10 minute easy, flat walk to Kyoto station & down a nice quiet street.

It’s oooh Kay. If you need a bed or two then you’re good. If you a space to chop a tomato, an onion than not so good. If you want to take a shower then you’re good. If you need space in the bathroom to put your cosmetics than not so good. It’s a just fine space and I guess it depends on where you’re coming from and how you live. Great lil neighborhood. I was quietly disappointed and on day two my 15 year just came out a said I hate this place. Not lamps or end table for our stuff, not counter space. She booked it I of course paid. We are from Manhattan so say what you will. We didn’t get some sort of deal… It’s safe and clean enough. And it’s walking distance to the bullet train. Ta- Da
