Our stay at the Fairfield Northampton was great. The room and all common areas were clean. Housekeeping came and made the beds, replenished towels and toiletries with care while we were out. Location was close the downtown with shops and eateries and a 20 minute drive from UMass. The complimentary breakfast and pool was a highlight of our stay. The staff was all super friendly. We look forward to staying again for any our future UMass visits.

We had a great stay while visiting for a lacrosse tournament. The front desk team, cleaning team, and lovely lady at breakfast were outstanding. Thank you!

Well mamaged

We stopped for an overnight and quick bike ride. When we arrived it was mid 90s..too hot to ride and the hotel let us check in early! Room was large and comfortable..bathroom was spacious and clean. Staff was wonderful, breakfast was tasty with lots of options. Since we were biking in the morning, we checked out and they allowed us to leave car in hotel lot until later. Very close to the Manhan RailTrail.

Friendly staff, well appointed, clean, and the outdoor patio was welcome and unexpected!

The staff was professional and helpful. The location was very convenient to everything we wanted to do during our visit. It’s an easy walk to downtown if you’re so inclined.

Pool was not usable due to the strong odor ,poor air quality and the bottom of the pool was covered in algae. Very disappointing on a ninety five degree day. Water pressure in the shower and sinks was very low .Wasted a lot of my time trying to rinse off. The pump soap provided got in my eyes and burnt so bad they were red and stinging. I had to go to the lobby desk and use the emergency eye wash station. No eye drops in the first aid kit . The mini fridge has a timed on switch.only makes cool for two hours. If you want to keep anything cold you literally have to reset it every couple hours. The cooling system is cycling on and off and very loud . It did not have an economy mode which would maintain the set level. Instead it ramps up full blast then shuts off until it loses the set temp. This goes on constantly while your trying to sleep. Otherwise the facility is pretty clean, bed and sheets were nice. The maintenance guy apologized for the pool condition.Which was still poor the next day. I shared most of this with the manager on duty upon check out. Staff were nice but not able to properly handle my concerns.

The staff provided positive and friendly service. The room and grounds were clean and had no odors. The complimentary breakfast looked inviting but I did not get to try it.
