This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff were attentive and spoke excellent English. The room was comfortable with a beautiful view of the Bund. Breakfast was an excellent buffet.
Jude, the concierge, was extremely helpful in making us a dinner river cruise reservation, even traveling with us to the site of debarkation to assure we made it onto the boat.
The hotel provided 6 bottles of water to us per day.
An excellent experience overall at a very reasonable price!

The hotel is a beautiful property but our room was not cleaned properly - crumbs were left by previous guests and were still there when we left after 2 nights (with maid services during our stay!). The temperature control for the shower also did not work well. The gym was small but clean. Breakfast buffer was a bit disappointing in terms of variety and quality.
