Fantastic 2 night stay, staff all very helpful and friendly, great facilities, very clean and the best Japanese breakfast….. an experience in itself so make sure you leave time for it in your itinerary. Wholeheartedly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely and charming Ryokan. They had very nice artwork and decor throughout the Ryokan, everything was very clean and it's in a great location, walkable to all the sites and the train station. The staff was so kind and helpful! I loved this Ryokan and Takayama so much that I give it my highest recommendation to anyone visiting Takayama. Thank you for an amazing stay! I hope to be able to return one day soon!

Stayed 2 nights, clean and comfortable room, slept well on futons. Nice public baths, excellent japanese breakfasts. Had dinner 1 night, good food but felt the service a bit rushed.
Well located to visit all of Takayama!

Had a great 2 night stay. Staff is great and super helpful. Ryokan is located a few minutes walk from the train station, and 10 minutes or so from old town. Japanese breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend.
