Our stay was only one night. The check in was simple. Our room was clean, and the king mattress was on the better side, firm, but needs to be replaced soon. No compalints on the room, it just was a bit dated. I would stay there again. They had a sports bar with a limited menu, but the food was excellent. We did not try the restaurant on site, but we saw that it was clean. On Monday check out, the restaurant was closed. The small cafe next to it was good enough for a breakfast sandwich and coffee. Both were excellent. The casino area was excellent: clean, well lit, and the staff was great. There were ample betting machines available, and they were not crowded together. We went for the horse racing, and the facility was a very short drive to the track entrance. Again, it was dated, but well maintained. The overall is you would enjoy your stay there.

Room could use upgrade especially the bathroom. Overall clean room & courteous staff.

Arrived early at 2:00 pm due to an attempt to avoid a terrible rain storm. Our room was ready, however we were asked to pay a $20 early arrival charge. We did not and waited until 3:00 pm to enter are room without any extra fees. This is a rediculous policy!

Room was dirty. Falling apart. Smelled bad

Nice place overall but I wish the actual room would have been cleaned a little better. Not a deal breaker for returning just would have been nice. The hotel lobby and casino and restaurants are very nicely kept .

THE STAFF AT MOUNTAINEER IS FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFUL!

Loved this casino/resort and will be back. They only provide 2 towels which kind of sucked for us as it was my 3 boys and me but otherwise the only other noticeable thing was the broken down elevator all weekend closest to the pool and our room.
