I am always a fan of the Hyatt staff and properties. The spa, pool, gym, room - all great ways to refresh after a long few weeks trekking through the heat. I love how close this hotel is to the Cirque de Soleil show Alize. I love this show. Lastly the staff is so helpful and friendly. I wish Hyatt trained every hotel chain. We stayed here with 4 of our mostly adult children and enjoyed watching the World Cup final in the bar.

The Grand Hyatt Berlin is a good hotel with an excellent location, making it very convenient for exploring the city's main attractions, shopping, and restaurants.
That said, I expected a more refined experience from a five-star hotel. While the property is comfortable and well maintained, the overall atmosphere and level of service did not consistently meet the standards I associate with a luxury hotel. The service was polite, but it lacked the attention to detail and personalized care that truly distinguish a five-star experience.
Overall, it's a solid choice if location is your top priority, but if you're looking for exceptional luxury and outstanding service, there are other hotels in Berlin that offer a more memorable five-star experience.

From the moment you walk into Berlin’s Grand Hyatt you know you’re somewhere special. From the seamless check-in to the well appointed and generously spacious rooms, it really enhances a vacationer’s enjoyment or a business traveller’s comfort. The staff are uniformly excellent - helpful and polite. There’s probably no other hotel I’d rather stay at when in Berlin.

I had such an amazing stay at the Grand Hyatt Berlin. I didn’t use the pool, gym, or breakfast, but the room and service was phenomenal. Room was squeaky clean everyday, room was gorgeous, and the location was convenient and felt very safe. It was my first time in Germany and this hotel made my experience perfect.
If there is anything to criticize, it would be the Vox restaurant. My fries came out cold and my water was over 10 euros. It would’ve been nice to know that my water would be more expensive than most other drink options and my side. Their crème brûlée and wine was amazing though. I wanted to go back just for those.
I will be coming back here if I come back to Berlin :)

Great room, but showing a little wear. Friendly staff in hotel and at the outdoor bar. Great pool as well at the top of the building.
