海洋帕爾馬斯飯店 (Las Palmas Hotel by the Sea)

The hotel is not called Las Palmas, the name on the front is Palm Beach, which is very confusing. The parking (that you pay £10 for) is a bit of a joke as there is only about 5 spaces for at least 36 rooms and I had to park on the grass. They did say there was other parking near by if there is no space. Our room was very warm with no fan/air conditioning and the window did not stay open. There was also a blind missing so was very bright in the morning. Our shower had one temperature...scolding hot so we could not use it and the toilet seat was broken. We did tell the receptionist but was told he would report it but was not maintenance so it would unlikely be fixed for when we left the next day. We were given the tv remove on arrival but didn't look at it as we dumped our bags and went out. We were given no information on the facilities or surrounding area. When we came in at 10.30pm, we asked if we had wifi as hadn't managed to find it and the receptionist said it was on the back of the remote but we could not find the network that night or the next morning. When we arrived there was a group of young men who were obviously drunk and we could hear them shouting at each other, which was quite scary as I was with my daughter. I suppose you get what you pay for but will not be staying again.

Its pathetic how you can't get room key until 3pm and must be out by 10 how so your actually paying for 2 thirds of a day . Plus having to pay £50 deposit in cash only is a joke when your only told when you arrive.

The hotel is very dated and when you arrive they ask for £50 deposit in cash which it doesn’t mention on the website For one night it was ok overall

This hotel is horrible and should be avoided by all means. The staff were rude. They asked for a deposit and I gave then my card but they refused and asked for cash only. In my check in instruction I have received from Expedia and hotel policy, there is no mention for cash. I have to walk for 10 mins for the nearest ATM. Next day in check out I realised why they asked for cash deposit as they want to rippe us by picking anything in the room to charge you. I had to wait for 15 mins for the guy to go to the room to check it and he came back and said the sink in the bathroom has toothpaste stains and asked me to pay for that or I have to clean it by myself and also to empty the rubbish bin!!. He went back to check the room again. It was obvious they are after the 50£ deposit. The location was not central or on the beach. The room size was small and had nothing apart from TV and bed. I am wondering why Expedia allows reservations through its platform. Form more than 20 years I have trusted Expedia and Ebooker to make my reservation with high stander hotel not such horrible hotel.

I didn't stay the booked time because criminals immigrants cheap labour staff have no hotelier culture. I want a refund for the rest of the not stay. Customer of British citizenship cannot be checked in England of non eligible immigrants.
