Great room and excellent location. The washer and dryer on our floor were very convenient and much appreciated. However, we visited during a very hot weekend, and the lack of air conditioning made things uncomfortable. Opening the windows helped, but the nightlife noise from below continued until about 3 AM each night, making sleep difficult.

Fantastic staff at the front desk, were able to check us in even though we arrived really early, and let us keep our bags while we explored the city in the morning, a d emailed me once the room was ready.
Location is great, and the room was very clean!

The Clipper Boardinghouse made for an exceptional stay; large room with seperate kitchenette for coffee, microwave, and fridge, with excellent German china, plus a terrific bathroom with shower and heated floor. We really enjoyed our 6 day stay there and would come back. Only "blemish" is that they cleaned the room and replaced towels once during our time, not an everyday function.
We highly recommend the Clipper Boardinghouse!

We loved our stay.
It was so nice to have so much space in our apartment, after travelling through Europe where most of the hotel rooms are small.
Having access to laundry facilities was such a bonus.
Close to all of Berlin's amazing historical sights, could walk everywhere.
Would highly recommend.

I can't give a good rating when your elevator is out of order for guest with 2 large suitcases to carry through stairs to the 6th floor. Great location and staff. But no room cleaning.
