Shower temperature changed all the time on its own. Also the water pressure in shower was bad. Taking a shower was not a nice experience. We stayed in this hotel when it was over 30 degrees Celsius - it's not a normal temperature in Germany I know, but the air quality was overall bad in the uppest room we had in this building. The staff was nice though we didn't interact that much.

This hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the train station and cathedral. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area too. The room we had was for three. It was very small but what more do you need? The bathroom was small too and the shower didn’t drain but we told them and they said they would send someone in to look. There is also a very small elevator which was useful since we were on the fourth floor. The staff was very accommodating as well. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Convenient to the train

Great location, Friendly staff, comfortable room with somehow strange smell inside.

Great location, in walking distance to many of the city’s attractions. The room was clean and at a good price. If I had to mention something constructive, I would advise they change out the carpet. It’s past its time.

The entrance was not easily identified. Cobble roads made access difficult with suitcases.

This was a great place to stay! You can tell they have a lot of pride in their business, for its age, the place was SPOTLESS! The staff was so kind and welcoming. The location was perfect, right on the river by the Cologne Cathedral and Hohenzollern Bridge I definitely recommend, and would stay again!

Very nice staff and hreat location

The location could not be beat! On the river, a few blocks from the Dom and train station. Right in the middle of the Christmas Markets if you are traveling during that time. Room was older and smaller but definitely clean with a good restaurant below that we ate at a couple of times.
