Bad place

Satisfactory.

the staff were absolutely atrocious. they cancelled our room passkey due to us not paying for parking, despite the fact we had sent them proof of payment. also check out time is way too early

No staff on site for check in, had to stand outside and scan a qr code to whatsapp a team who were slow to respond. Room was ok but basic, supplied 1 small hand towel and no extra toilet paper. Room had an AC unit with a big hole in the wall vent, but heating did not work and room was freezing

I arrived and someone was already in my room, after them being told their room wasn't ready and being put into ours. We were then told that we could go into another room and the room had not even been cleaned. The window also didn’t shut and the door handle had fallen off the window so was very cold thought the night. Will not be returning

The property is run virtually staffless. The is no reception, requests for replenishing towels, toilet roll and toiletries by WhatsApp were ignored. They changed key codes for the bedroom without notification which meant making phone calls just to enter the room. Would not recommend to anyone. It seems more like a student hostel than a hotel. Requests for parking instructions were also ignored meaning we parked in the station carpark at considerable expense.

The room definitely needed a clean, the walls were dirty, the floor was greasy, the shower hadn’t been cleaned. The sheets also did not fit properly, I asked for a replacement but they didn’t have one that for. I did not receive a check in code, I had to reach out and ask for it.

The room was kinda small, bed was comfortable and clean, window view was awful in our room, bathroom had functional facilities but no lock and had noticeable water damage around wooden doorways and trimming. Overall, an average experience. Perfect for easy access to Cambridge and low to average hotel expectations.

I made a mistake when booking and didn’t change dates so it booked for the next day and then I couldn’t move or cancel because of cancellation policy. However it was a mistake and I've tried to correct right away calling the Hotel immediately and many times after and nobody ever answered. Tried to send messages in hotel website and nobody ever replied. Tried to send message via hotels.com and it wasn’t even possible - error message. Hotels.com customer service tried to reach the hotel and couldn’t. This never happened to me before with other hotels and I am really disappointed.
