Great stay, and great location.

I was quite disappointed. I arrived in St. Louis on May 30. When I landed at the airport, I checked my email to see that there was a message from Expedia indicating that the Casino Queen Hotel was unable to accommodate my stay due to renovations, thereby forcing me to find a last minute hotel for the next two nights! When I called the Casino Queen Hotel to ask them about this, they claimed I canceled the hotel reservation. I definitely did not. In fact, just days prior, I had received notification from the hotel that they were looking forward to seeing me. When I called the hotel to question them on this, they were abrupt. Was not impressed. Would not recommend making a reservation there as they blamed me for a cancellation I did not make! I am quite lucky that another hotel had a room available.

Close train ride to watch the stl cardinals!

Room was not very clean, pool was not clean and looks like a deposit ring around it and stuff on the sides. No real smell of chlorine. Water was very hard apparently no water softener. Maybe needs some updating. Shelf in shower was put up w caulking and not a clean job. It was close to the train and busch stadium and other places so the location was great. Casino was pretty nice and food was good.

I was a little worried about the location on the IL side of the river, but it was fine. We left our bikes on the carrier and they were left alone. We walked across the bridge to the park with the Arch and other than some broken glass it was a pleasant walk and the park was beautiful. The room was large and clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay again!

Clean rooms. The staff was wonderful. Friendly and helpful. We have stayed here several times over the course of the last 5 years and have always had a positive experience.

East LRT trip to downtown, especially to the Cardinals game.

The front desk girls were very impressive. They seemed to enjoy their job, and helpful.

Evening was great. Just wish they would have a microwave in the room. We were able to go down by the lobby to use a microwave.

Casino is nice along with the room we had. The cleaning staff is very loud in the mornings, so dont expect to sleep in after hanging out in the casino half the night.
