Very quiet room. Lovely breakfast room. Huge breakfast delicious. We thought we were upgraded to a suite but it turned out to be a regular room. Otherwise great location, lovely staff including the reception dog Cori.

A beautiful hotel, special shout out to Senior Javier in the restaurant! We ate three meals there and were served by him and he was outstanding! He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and my 11 year-old was thrilled with his extra care!

Excellent location, beautiful representation of the rich history of the city. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Historical hotel, very friendly and helpful staff

I recently stayed at the Fairmont Boston and unfortunately the property felt very outdated and not well maintained compared to what I expected from a Fairmont hotel. While the location is convenient and the staff were generally polite, the overall condition of the hotel needs significant updates. The rooms showed noticeable wear and tear, including older furniture, dated décor, and areas that did not feel particularly clean or refreshed. The hallways and common areas also felt tired and lacked the luxury atmosphere normally associated with the brand. For the price, I expected a much more modern and well-kept experience. One thing future travelers should know is that this hotel may work if location is your top priority, but if you are looking for a true luxury stay or updated accommodations, you may want to consider other options in Boston.
