We were able to keep the room at a comfortable temperature even though there were record high temps. You can't hear noise coming from any of the other rooms or hallway which was great. We didn't have a lot of interaction with the staff, but what we did was great.

Loved the location. We were immediately next to buses and a train station and within a 10 minute walk of museum island and the Berlin TV tower. The hotel, with its George Baselitz themed art was quirky and fun. Exceptional and helpful staff, nice room and a good bar for a cocktail. Breakfast prices were quite high, and the breakfast buffet was good, but choose breakfast included if you have that option!

I loved that part of the hotel was a restored rococo townhouse from 1724. The staircase is original and 2 fully restored rooms are now used for corporate events and weddings. Plus the art in the hotel was beautiful!

Excellent stay overall. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the staff provided outstanding service throughout my visit. The breakfast was excellent with a great selection, and the location is hard to beat—very central and just steps from a subway station, making it easy to get anywhere in Berlin. I also appreciated the hotel’s sauna and gym, which were well maintained and a great way to relax after long days of exploring the city. My only criticism is the bed. The hotel uses a soft mattress topper, which I found uncomfortable, particularly as a side sleeper and someone with occasional lower back issues. Others may enjoy the softer feel, but it didn’t provide enough support for me.

A central location for explorers of Berlin with public transport connections within a minutes walk. The interior is calm and welcoming and the reception staff are simply amazing as they even helped us plan journeys during our stay.

Breakfast was great. Eggs/omelette cooked perfectly which is kinda rare these days.

The staff were amazing. Really helpful (we were able to check-in early but they gave us the wrong type of room which they quickly rectified) every time we asked a question or asked for help. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a really good shower. The location is excellent, handily located near the U-2 station Markisches Museum and bus stops and the street seem quiet and safe. Splashed out on the breakfast on our last day and it was superb, with a good selection to choose from.

Great travel links, large room and lovely staff

Lovely hotel, well located for transport links and all the sights. Excellent breakfast with freshly prepared options. Staff very helpful, would recommend.
