Older property. awesome staff, great breakfast.....

The general manager had really good customer service .Breakfast was also a plus, lots of variety.The Mandala ray restaurant was a great place to have dinner.Overall this hotel was a good experience . I Would definetly come back.

The staff was professional and the breakfast made it easy with kids. The room for 5 was spacious. One blow dryer didn’t work (I used the one in the other bathroom) and there was a leak from the shower upstairs going into the shower in ours. The place is dated, but clean and the price is right for families.

The staff was very helpful accommodating my dog and brother on the ground floor (they don't do stairs). The location is very good for sightseeing at Hearst Castle, the Elephant Seal habitat, Piedras Blancas lighthouse and the southern end of the Big Sur coastline. It's an easy drive up Highway One to San Dollar Beach and Los Padres Forest trails to the North. To the south it's a short drive to Cambria and Moonstone Beach. Be sure to walk the coastal trail in Fiscarelli Reserve. I like staying in San Simeon because of the beauty of the coast, catching sunsets and the chance to see the descendants of Hearst's zebras grazing at dusk near San Simeon State park.

Everything was amazing! The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. I have stayed at several hotels in San Simeon and will most definitely come back to this one. The free breakfast was also wonderful!
