It would be nice if they offered a shuttle to the Staten Island ferry, I believe some local hotels offer one.

It is a well-kept older building. Friendly staff, convenient store at the front desk. Very good version of the Hampton Inn breakfast buffet, bacon every morning and the bagels were fresher than usual. Location was close enough too the Ferry, but the Ferry schedule can fluctuate on holiday weekends.
