The staff were excellent and most hospitable.
We had dinner in the restaurant on both nights and the food was very very nice. Deserts were to die for.

The staff are nice and the location is great. Property is well maintained with the exception of the rooms. It needs to be updated. The carpets are very old and emits a very musty smell. The linens and blankets were also dirty. The kitchen has some basic stuff like coffees and teas which were greatly appreciated. The scenery around the property is great and they have a nice trail walk.

Really enjoyed our one night stay. Room was very nicely presented. A toaster would be an asset to a stayer not wishing to go out first thing.
Grounds beautifully maintained. A lovely quiet retreat not far from the city.

The carpet was wet probably due to the humidity. I had to walk up the stairs to the room. Parking wasn’t easy to maneuver due to the small size. Couldn’t sleep due to the humidity in the room.
