mine was a newer single room. Very nice. Clean. Fifth floor so most mostly quiet. reception staff was great. This year reception was open at the hotel, not at the Monopol a few doors down. They were able to find me a fan that worked, to help cool the room. But of course it was very hot.

The room was absolutely lovely and the hotel is very well located near to the trainstation. However, we had not realised there is no air conditioning in the room - it was sweltering during our stay in the July heat wave. With open windows, we kept up for much of the night by noise/partying in the street below us. We barely slept. I would stay here again in fall or winter but it's a no go for me on hot summers.

Very pleasant stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and always happy to help. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and were happy to answer any questions we had throughout our stay. Their service was efficient and genuinely kind. Thank you for the warm hospitality.

In summer you need to have air conditioning. Otherwise if you plan to use fans only, please equip the rooms with stronger fans. The standing fans in the room were pretty useless and we were sweating throughout the 2 nights we stayed there

No Ac at all!

Pros: extremity convenient to the central train station, restaurants, attractions. Property does have a small (lift) elevator, Free bowl of fruit to pick from at the front desk, a complimentary jar of water in your room, plenty of clean linens. 2 oscillating fans in our room, small safe for valuable's. nice balcony wth seating to enjoy morning coffee overlooking the street and buildings, complimentary coffee and coffee machine, iron, hair dryer and ironing board provided. Stick in your ears earplugs provided Cons: no air conditioning, it was very hot, windows and doors open up great but the restaurant/ bar/ street traffic was very noisy, we didn’t really sleep till the bars closed and the streets cleared, and the temperature cooled Down some, but then the early morning delivery trucks , street sweepers would start up, Desk lamp did not work and was never addressed even after several reports via various means. We deviantly not stay hear again due to the noise and heat,

The hotel was very nice, centrally located and the staff were very helpful.

Great staff and nice rooms

Very expensive. No air conditioning. Hotter than hell. The lights kept turning off every twenty minutes. Two bulbs were burnt out. Okay overall. No drawers for storage.
