Great location and very clean!

Great staff and service. Breakfast was ok but the service was able to keep the mornings fluid. The gym was fine but there was minimal A/C Overall a great place to stay near a lot of areas.

Clean room and comfortable bed

I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of the amenities and services received based on my recent 4 night stay.

This hotel is located in the best spot. It is so close to transport, old Montreal, china town. The staff were amazing always able to assist. This will be where I will stay when I return!

Clean room. Breakfast was ok.

Although the rooms are small they were renovated. The room had a safe and ironing board/ iron. The breakfast buffet in the morning was busy and decent. The location is close to the subway and lots of amenities in the area. Overall the property is clean. Staff were friendly but one in particular was a bit odd. He recommended I take the stairs as the elevator was taking a long time and I was on the second floor. As I went to do that, he then yelled at me that he didn't know if I would be locked in or not. I asked if he could find out before doing that he said not really. Huh? So I took a chance and it worked out. I just thought it was odd to offer a suggestion like that without really any initiative to find out that it was in fact viable as an option. Overall the hotel is a solid 3.5/5. I would stay there again.

Facilities are well maintained and the breakfast is good.

Just lovely. Stayed for 10 days. Staff was great and helpful. I was in constant amazement of the efficiency of the breakfast service, as we were there during Jazzfest and the place was packed. No problem though—the staff made sure the food items, jams, sugar, coffee, etc etc were always quickly restocked and maintained. Likewise, they were all aware of tables that needed to be cleaned/cleared and did so immediately. I often sat at the coffee bar and as a result inadvertently observed the staff’s interaction with each other and other guests. They were always kind, respectful and polite. Hotel is clean, beds were comfy. Gym is amazing. Room attendants were respectful and helpful. Great stay!

It's been 3 days since checkout and the $60 incidental charge on my credit card is still there. I never received a receipt upon checking out despite asking them for one. They refused to provide one stating that I booked through Expedia. I did not use any paid facilities at the hotel, so they need to release the hold from my credit card. It should also be a policy to always provide a printed receipt to a customer upon check out. I have stayed at many different Marriott hotels in different cities and have always been provided a final receipt but this one in Montreal is the first Marriott that refused to provide me one. While my overall stay was pleasant, this issue of incidental hold is causing me stress.
