Initially we were very surprised to have been given a room on the top(15th) floor. Unfortunatly, it was directly across from the Presidential suite where there was a very large and very loud party taking place---until 2:45AM. We got very little sleep. The next day we called the front desk to inquire if that same group would be back the following night - and we were informed they were. We requested and received a room change down to the 10th floor. In a hurry, we moved after our dinner around 8:30pm. The following morning we realized we had left a few items in the closet and called the front desk. "No problem" we were told, and they'd take care of it. Sunday we heard nothing and Monday when we checked out we had no further update. Completely understanding if we left items in the room-that's on us. Recognizing it and being told it'd be taken care of is different. Thjis property must also be an older Bonvoy location as you can easily tell both the inside and outside of the hotel are weathered. The best test is would we come back to this property again?? The answer is most likely not.

Had a great time . It’s close to everywhere . San Diego zoo, shopping center

We got a “balcony” room that “sleeps 4” We got a room with 1 king bed and a chair. The balcony was 2 feet deep. So…… First time experience with having a balcony you could stand on. So I guess 2 people get a bed, one gets a chair and the fourth person on the floor. There was an elevator broken on a holiday weekend. Was comical to have everyone waiting extended times for elevator then have to pack in like sardines. Otherwise the place was great!!
