努伊沙爾利飯店 (Holiday Inn - the niu, Charly Frankfurt City by IHG)

This was a good hotel for being close to the Frankfurt main train station. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The air conditioning worked well. I would stay here again,

On arrival at the hotel I explained to the front of staff that I hadn’t slept for 24 hours coming from New Zealand. It was 8 am when I arrived. They said I could have a room if I paid 10 euro per hour (70 euros!!) I declined the offer and all they could offer was storing my bag until 3pm. I came back begging to let me have a room at 12-30pm, but no, they said I had to wait. I enquired how many rooms they had , they said 240! I asked the guy at the counter if I could speak to the manager and only then they handed over a key to a room. The manager had already been approached by the guy at reception, several times, but no early room entrance. This was my 4th stay and it will be my last stay.

The few blocks around the hotel had a lot of homeless people, but the hotel itself was fantastic. Very clean and helpful staff. Was perfect for our layover.

Booked a standard room with twin bed. Room is small but clean. Twin bed is really small. I’m in France today and the twin bed here is twice the size. Hotel is in red light area, which had lots of homeless.

Amir was great and the room was clean. It’s just the area it is in is very dodgy. I’d likely stay somewhere in the city centre and not in the train station area

We had two rooms for two nights. My daughter and her boyfriend had one and I was in the other room. My room was excellent in every aspect. Their room was also excellent but the noise outside kept them awake. The first night they could hear the homeless people partying in the alleyway. The second night noise from the local bar kept them awake again. I was on the opposite side of the hotel where it was quiet.

There is a breakfast but it will cost 19 euro pp. No complimentary breakfast. No parking. Rooms are clean and staff are good.

Good hotel

The staff is very nice and the hotel lobby and rooms are in great condition! The location is not pleasant, but we didn’t know anything about the Frankfurt red light district. Mugging and violence is not common, but there are lots of homeless outside and it always smells bad. Inside your hotel room at night though, you don’t hear, see, smell anything.

The hotel itself is great. The place is very clean and very well maintained. Same with the rooms. The staff is great, courteous and helpful. Very close to the train station and city tram. The area can be a bit sketchy. Just normal precautions.
