Great value

I spend a lot of time in NyC and lived across the river for many years. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels throughout Manhattan. This is the BEST value in the city. It is right next to the Smyth and half the price. The location is great in a great neighborhood. I will stay there again.

It was our first time staying at the Frederick, but it won’t be the last. Our flights delayed our arrival by a significant amount, and when I called the hotel to notify them, the staff were incredibly gracious. The room was clean & comfortable (excellent air-conditioning!), and we were greeted with a lovely welcome gift. We enjoyed the 5:00 happy hour in the lobby - again, wonderful, friendly staff (Julian, Terrell & Fu’Quan were delightful). On our final night, we relaxed with a nightcap in the bar. All in all a fabulous experience!

Wonderful place and so quiet. Highly recommend Serafina the restaurant that is attached to the hotel.

Amazing breakfast, perfect little room for one or two people, cozy bed, lovely, detailed bathroom, and very kind, helpful staff from check-in to check-out!

Room was smaller than I expected. Other than that, it was a good nice, quiet space for a couple. I would return.

Amazing, kind staff that went above and beyond to make our trip special. They even took my note about our celebration for my friend's pregnancy and put a little surprise in our room. The Junior suite had 2 actual queen sized beds (rare in NYC) and was spacious to fit 3. Great location, close to the 1-2-3 subway, and free breakfast at Serafina. Will 100% be back!

Wonderful place and staff. Someone was always around to answer questions.
