The apartment is located in Casco Viejo, just one block away from a nice area. The apartment complex has a nice rooftop with a pool and some lounge spaces and a nice restaurant on the ground floor. Super spacious apartment and generally nice. Some minor things were broken like the microwave and shower door. Overall was great but being one block away from the nice area and not super well maintained doesn't allow me to give 5 stars.

Well positioned,clean modern and tidy. Only thing it needs is a mat in the shower,tiles are very slippery

The hotel was close to the old town and had a kitchen and decent Internet which was why I booked it. However, it was not in a good area. As a solo traveler I did not feel very comfortable and made sure to get back before it started to get dark. My "balcony" was looking out at an abandoned house and trash. The rooftop pool was a bit rundown and all the nice lounge areas were part of private apartments. Overall it was ok but the area was just really run down. The restaurant downstairs was the best part through

Upon check-in I immediately noticed that the unit (2F) was not cleaned well and had maintenance issues. I saw stains, marks, and damage throughout the apartment, making it a very uncomfortable stay. As other reviewers have mentioned, the area is not as developed and the view from the bedroom was a very rundown set of buildings. The last straw for me was that the bedsheets were stained. I was given a WhatsApp contact number after I raised my concerns (immediately after check in) and nothing was addressed except that someone brought new sheets and towels that I had to change them myself. I would not recommend La Cuadra in Casco Viejo despite the positive reviews.

Second stay here and just as perfect as our first stay.

The room has issues that should be attended to such as the broken towel bar and the rack in the dishwasher doesn’t work. Pool was cloudy and needed to be cleaned.

I had a hard time finding a place in this neighborhood that was large enough for a family of 5, so the one positive is that we did have adequate space. The issues with the place, it overlooks a very run down part of town, it is just on the edge of the nice part of Casco Viejo, and there is a large police presence, which is a good thing, but also shows the fact that they must have issues with crime. The parties outside of the building literally went on all night and made it tough to sleep. The pool area was nice to have, but run down. The place is very basic, and not well appointed, the door is annoying to lock… Overall, it was okay, the air conditioning worked, but made a lot of noise in the main room, but due to the late night all night parties and where our apartment was located it was a poor stay!

Superb customer service. Instant responsiveness. Almost miraculous.

Awesome rooms would give 5 star but location is just outside nice area of town and while they had Wifi it was quite week in our room

Love the property. You are right at the start of the nice part of casco viejo but the blocks around it are rough and ugly. The police are very prominent so it's safe but be on alert
