Clean Comfortable Safe Great location

it's student accommodation, allow for that, there aren't any provisions in the room. no tv, toiletries, aircon etc so go prepared. location is great, there's a Tesco underneath for any bits you need. staff are friendly and helpful. there are a couple of pubs over the road that serve late and get boisterous, would recommend taking earplugs. Great for a bed for then night or a base for exploring cork

There was no air-conditioning and there was a tiny window that was 6 feet away from a brick wall so no air could get in the room was stifling. This would be OK in the winter because they had a radiator in every room but in the summer, just not acceptable.

The day I left, the only elevator was out of order. I had to carry my luggage to the ground floor. Glad I was checking out and not checking in and walk to the fifth floor!

This is a dorm. This is not explicitly mentioned is the property description. There is no onsite parking at th parking lot recommended is 72 Euro. The property gets you a deal if you book online but if you go Roth nearest lot it only costs 28 Euro. What a scam. There is no hairdryer in the room. It was ridiculously hot, no AC, our window blinds were wide open when we got here with the sun shining in the room and it did NOT cool down at night. The property doesn’t have enough fans to accommodate all rooms and we asked if we could be moved to a room that wasn’t in direct sun (the place didn’t seem too busy/full) but the front desk staff said no, they couldn’t do that and no one with authority would be available until the next day which didn’t help b/c we were leaving. This was an expensive place for one night and it was impossible to sleep in 30c room.

The room had no air conditioning and the window did not open enough to get cool air into the room. We had to find another hotel because the room was too hot to sleep in. We paid for 4 nights but were only able to use one of them.

Very central, modern, safe. Lovely friendly staff. Good price.

Great other than the bed was really big enough for 2 people due to layout, so sleeping was cramped, but for 1 single person would be fine.

While the strong point of this hotel was its central location there were many issues. The lift was very unreliable on the way up with door closing after a few seconds of opening. The life then wouldn't return and I had to climb 7 flights of stairs to where my room was. The shower hot water was unreliable, it would come one for one minute and then go cold. You would have to wait a few hours before the water would be warm again. There were no tea/coffee making facilities within the room (only a shared kitchen) and it was quite loud/noisy at night with shouting and argument heard clearly between rooms and corridors. For what I paid (about 150 euro excluding breakfast) it was not worth the money, it felt more like a 1 bed private room in a hostel rather than a hotel (you are sharing accommodation with students within the block).

Perfect and wonderful value for money
