We had a really enjoyable stay overall. The biggest highlight is the location — right in the heart of Palermo and within easy walking distance of the main sights, which made it easy to explore and pop back to the hotel during the day. It’s also only around 15 minutes from Palermo Centrale station, which was very convenient. The only downside is that it’s quite far from Palermo Notarbartolo, where we rented a car, so that meant relying on taxis or buses. The room was spacious, clean, and the air conditioning was a big plus in the Sicilian heat. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, from carrying suitcases up the stairs (there’s no lift, which we hadn’t realised) to organising taxis and accommodating earlier breakfasts for our day trips. Breakfast was a lovely touch, served either in your room or on the shared balcony overlooking Quattro Canti, which was a great way to start the day. The only negatives were that the bathroom could have been cleaner and sometimes had a strange smell. Our room was next to the kitchen, so there was some noise early in the morning, and despite the soundproofing, street noise can still be noticeable at night due to the central location. Overall, a great base for exploring Palermo with fantastic staff and an unbeatable location, with just a few minor drawbacks.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the heart of Palermo. The room and accommodation was excellent and the staff were superb. We enjoyed a great breakfast on our balcony each morning overlooking the Quattro Canti. There was noise and music until the early hours but it was happy and joyful. People having fun and singing and dancing - live music through the day - opera, singers, violin etc were a true bonus.

Air con wasn’t very powerful, but location fabulous and lovely staff/breakfast was generous.

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again. The hotel was very clean, well-maintained, and located right in the heart of the city. The central location made it incredibly easy to walk to restaurants, attractions, shopping, and everything we wanted to see. The staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast each morning was outstanding, with a great selection and a wonderful start to the day. A couple of things to keep in mind: because of the hotel’s prime location in the center of town, there can be some nighttime noise from the surrounding area. Also, be prepared to climb several flights of stairs to reach your room, as there is quite a bit of stair climbing involved. There were a few discrepancies between the listing and our experience. The property description stated that a laundry facility was available, but there was not one on-site. In addition, the listing advertised memory foam beds. Our bed did not appear to be memory foam; it was quite springy and bouncy, and felt like it may be due for replacement. Despite those issues, the cleanliness, amazing location, excellent breakfast, and outstanding staff made this a very enjoyable stay.

Right in the center of history. Modern unit in an ancient building. Steps from the famous Quattro Canti and visible from the balcony when there are performers each evening. Magical. Even though it is busy during the day and evening, the unit is very well insulated and not noisy at all inside.

Great location and helpfull staff . Even though all communication was with what’s app , but it was smooth process . Clean property . Breakfast menu was fantastic .

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very attentive, responsive, and helpful throughout our visit, thank you Alin! As international travelers without local phone service, we especially appreciated the excellent communication through Whats App, which made check-in and any questions very easy to handle. The room was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and the bed was very comfortable, providing a great night's sleep after long days of sightseeing. The property felt safe and secure, and the location was outstanding. It is situated right next to one of the most popular streets in the area, with numerous restaurants, cafes, and shops just a one-minute walk away. There is a gate to access and then get into the hotel. Overall, this is an excellent place to stay, especially for international travelers. Great service, comfortable accommodations, and a fantastic location. Highly recommended.

Good location but not aware of any other amenities. It is hard in a b&b to get advice about transfers and local restaurants as you have to email and wait for a reply.

My partner and I really enjoyed staying at inCanto. It's right by the main square of Palermo so it was really close to everything that we wanted to see or visit. The street just being is all restaurants so you won't have to worry about going hungry. The staff, Alin, was extremely helpful, professional, and friendly. He took the time to explain the breakfast and everything within the B&B as well as made many excellent recommendations for food we were looking for. Given the opportunity, I will definitely try to stay here again. I would recommend definitely recommend staying here!

Our four night stay at inCanto was fantastic! The location is so convenient - just steps away from Quattro Canti. Alin and his staff made our stay so comfortable. We had a huge king bed room with a large terrace that overlooked the street, where we had our made-to-order breakfast every morning while being serenaded by opera singers busking in the square. (The 30-something tenor with the beard and aviator glasses was our fave!) Amazing stay!! Amy USA April 2026
