With the right stuff it can feel homey and a great experience.

I’ve never stayed at a places I had to clean up upon walking into. I didn’t have high expectations for pigtown but this took the cake! Just a little bit of work would have turned this place around. It was obvious the deck hadn’t been cleaned up, as the seat cushions were left in a pile and a towel with butt imprint was still left in the chair. The outdoor lights with no timer were still plugged in. By far, the worse part of the stay was the shower. NO HOT WATER! You couldn’t pay me to stay there again.

This property is def a "stay for the night" kinda vibe. I couldn't stay here multiple nights because it a couple things: uncleanliness and the volume outside. I booked this property the same day, so perhaps that's why it wasn't as clean as I would've liked but that was a little frustrating to me. The bathroom was primarily the issue. The bed was good and clean. The ROKU TV remote was virtually unresponsive, so that was irritating. I ended up downloading the app on my phone to control the TV LMAO. As for the noise, there were several individuals standing outside of the door, sitting on the steps, etc making loud noise all into the night. In theory that's fine, this is there neighborhood and I'm a guest. However, if that is something that bothers you, I would suggest staying elsewhere. Otherwise the property gets the job done and is close to metro, places to eat, etc. great central location to the harbor. 3/5 rate from me.

The one bedroom was exactly what my husband and I needed while we stayed in the area for an event at the horseshoe Casino. We were able to find scooters to get to the casino and it was a great location, but because of safety concerns in the general area we elected to uber home. Definitely not the greatest of neighborhoods… but for what we needed it was fine!

Great property. Loved coziness and location. Will book again in the future. Wish I could’ve had a broom available to clean better after myself.
