Catania Smart Hotel

There is nobody at the hotel after 10pm to help resolve problems. We went out to dinner, and, when we returned, our key cards did not work, so we could not get in our room. It took a stressful two hours for someone from security to drive to the hotel to let us in. We had to make twenty phone calls at international rates, which took ages to get through and then no one spoke English, and they kept putting the phone down on us. Extremely stressful, avoid like the plague!

The property is great! With a little hick up we ended up really liking the staff!

English: I met most of the staff during my stay, but it was Roberta and Martina who went above and beyond! They called taxis for us, gave us restaurant recommendations and made our stay incredibly relaxing. They always took the time to make a personal connection with us. What a great representation of the beautiful people of Sicily! I highly recommend Smart Hotel.

Very clean, conveniently located, new hotel. Got upgraded to deluxe room, which was a plus as well. Staff friendly and helpful.
