Celebrated an anniversary and birthday while staying at the Waxenstein. An anniversary card and chocolates in our room and a special birthday breakfast table with champagne for my wife’s birthday. All unexpected but greatly appreciated. No doubt our future trip to Grainau will include a stay at the Waxenstein.

Close to skiing and wonderful restaurants. We walked everywhere. Cozy lounge and restaurant with antique decor. Professional, friendly, helpful staff who provided everything we needed to have a great time in the area. Highly recommend! Would stay here again.

We liked that we could walk to town, where restaurants were plenty, and was a very short drive to the Zugspitze.
But above all this, we absolutely love the Mountain Views, the beautiful flowers and the peace and quiet.
