Friendly and helpful staff ! Nice ocean view. This hotel is in the best location possible!

Nice property, clean and well maintained even though the rooms are outdated. Lots of construction going on on the property. Beach is right across the street from the hotel about 2 minutes of walking which was very convenient. One disadvantage I want to mention is that you have to pay for umbrellas separately at the beach and the hotel does not provide it even though I feel like for the resort fee they charge they really should provide the umbrellas. They do provide chairs though that you have to pick up on the 3d floor. There are two little coffee shops on the property where we usually ate breakfast, they had small stuff like sandwiches,smoothies, acai bowls, pastries. We tried a bar there and the food was horrible. There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel though within walking distance.

WOW!! I had the ocean front view that I purchased and it was breathtaking, they put us in the 38th floor so we had an amazing view of the whole ocean! The rooms where up to date as far as being clean, it did come with some other upgrades like a makeup mirror with a light. Staff was extra kind, I was informed at check in the hotel (over by the pool) offers beach chairs, boogie boards, and sand toys but arrive early as they do run out. Somedays I’d get there as early as 8am and they would only have chairs and not very many left. They provide you in the room with 2 water containers to refill with water and a beach bag in the closet, which is nice! The beach is literally a walk across the hotel. If you walk to the beach and head to the right in front of the royal Hawaiian is a decent sandbar area where you can walk and 1/4 of a mile deep and it’s knee deep. We decided to do a late checkout as our flight left till midnight, so we had to move rooms which was fine but at an additional cost of $250 plus tax, resort fee. We were able to check out at 6pm. Honestly we loved the amenities they offered, but what I did was pack any large Stanley my mini ice chest with little goodies like beers water fresh fruit like poke food land, chips, and drive out to LANIKAI! hands down the best beach through the whole island! I’d definitely come back to this spot!

Loved this hotel. The rooms were nice, had great views and the staff was so nice and helpful. It is located in a perfect area across from the beach. So convenient having shopping and restaurants just below the hotel. We also ate at the buffet which really was good and especially having all you can eat snow crab.

The experience was amazing. I would recommend paying the valet (it is more expensive) but parking on your own can be a challenge. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Really nice place & well maintained good staff

We love the location of this hotel. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The staff were friendly. Our only concern was the elevator situation as it would frequently take a long time to stop by our floor that we had to go one floor down or ride up so we can an elevator to go down the lobby. Over all, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Nice property with great ocean views. A bit of construction ongoing as they repair the damage from spring storms. The valet, ride share area needs to be expanded. Also a proper bar for nightcap would be useful.

Room was beautiful and location was ideal. The soap and amenities were great! Restaurant staff were amazing!

It was very nice. We were told to start clear of Waikiki but we loved it and this hotel was a good vibe!
