Hotel is centrally located and provided the ability to check out the different sections of downtown Lisbon comfortably (while also being into drop off shopping bags and to rest during the day). Friendly and helpful staff (explaining attractions, giving directions, storing baggage, refilling water even in the early mornings). Being a few blocks away from the main square, you will likely hear some noise in the evenings but this is likely inevitable given the location. I was still able to sleep, even as a light sleeper!

The staff were helpful, rooms were comfortable and clean and the breakfast was delicious! The location was good and within walking distance of many restaurants. Our stay in Lisbon was a great experience .

We had a negative experience at this establishment. When we first entered our room, all we could smell was a foul odour, resembling stinky feet. When we brought it to the attention of management, they said house keeping would come - they never did. Then, the ceiling in the bathroom started leaking all the way along from one corner to the other, water dripping and pooling on the floor. Housekeeping came this time, but there was damage to the ceiling and it was a bit of an eyesore. Also stressful that it would happen again and it would drip in our belongings. Next, we heard a knock at the door and men who only spoke Portuguese tried to enter our room, with no prior notice from management. We did not allow them to enter. 5 minutes later, the manager arrived and explained they had to do work in our room. It was unsettling to think these people would have been coming into our room unaccompanied by hotel staff if we happened to be away from our room that afternoon. The carpet was also very dirty with numerous stains and stuck on dirt. The mini-fridge had mold in it when we arrived, and was not working. They didn’t fix the mini fridge and remove the mild, thankfully. Management was not helpful throughout the process and never offered a room switch or any compensation whatsoever. The staff was nice, but clear the management/ownership do not care. We would not stay here again in the future.

Excellent location near Plaza de Comercio, good restaurants and great stores nearbt

Clarissa checked us in and was absolutely fantastic! English was very good. The property is in the middle of a lot of street activity and was noisy but everything a tourist could want was within easy walking distance. The property needs updating. The air conditioning was shut down at about 10pm, turning the small room into a sauna. I called the front desk from my US cell phone because there was no answer from the room phone. The night clerk was argumentative and said it was something I did when all I needed was the AC back on. Then she indicated she would turn it on from the front desk and hung up on me. She did turn it back on. The room smelled musty and as a result my entire suitcase of clothes smells musty but overall our stay was as expected in such a busy part of Lisbon.
