Booked a King Premium but allocated a double double classic room which faced the next door hotel’s cafe. As a result we were unable to use balcony and had to keep curtains shut! Complained to reception who advised that hotel was full so could not move us until two days later. Subsequently given a King Premium room which was better but overlooked a building site! Still it was better than the first one but not what you expect of Intercons , I have stayed in IHG hotels all over the world and the rooms in this hotel were by far the worst . I would only consider staying here if you have a sea facing room on the front with a plunge if shared pool. Breakfast was ok but by day 3 of our 7 day stay there was a ‘technical’ problem in the kitchen and as a result they were unable to provide omelettes. Can only assume they lost the frying pan!!!

We loved our time at the IHG- Intercontinental Crete. It’s centrally located in Agios Nikolaos to great food and shops. The hotel has valet parking and it was very easy to get in and out quickly. The staff could not have been more pleasant. From the moment we arrived, they were very attentive and kind. The breakfast was phenomenal and included with out stay. This saved us time and money looking outside of the hotel for breakfast each day. The hotel restaurant and bar are great too. We spent each night having a delicious meal or drink at the hotel. The room was spacious and had everything to make our stay feel like home. We loved our time! 10/10

Staff was wonderful. Very friendly and attentive. The amenities are great too. Just had concerns about the quality of the room.

Breakfast was more Holiday Inn express standard Room faced a busy road and outside entrance so extremely noisy . Not shown on website or when booking. Rooms were barely serviced Pools have amazing view but be warned are not heated . Indoor pool is pretty cold also most people got out immediately . Nice sauna though

Loved this hotel! It was in walking distance to lake and to shopping/restaurants! The breakfast was amazing with a huge selection of items. What made it even better was the staff!!!!! Will be back again really soon!

Lovely buffet breakfast, the hot items would be perfect if hotter. Very convenient location for restaurants,bars and shops. Very clean in all areas, very friendly staff . A few more umbrellas around the pool areas would help.

Next level service and amenities. Incredible breakfast buffet overlooking the ocean. Our car was Brought up front on our day of departure without asking. Just plain amazing people.

We loved the location, right next to the sea and convenient to shops and restaurants. The staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was exceptional. All areas were very clean and well maintained and the lobby area was remarkable.

We had a lovely 10 night stay and would definitely recommend.
