The room was very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful!

What a charming boutique property. Just perfect for a pre cruise stay. The staff is amazing as well as the breakfast and dinner. The location is excellent for walking. Would highly recommend a stay at the White Star Tavern & Hotel.

Staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was super small, but the bathroom was decent size with a great shower. We had to store our luggage downstairs at the desk as only our carry ons could fit comfortably on the room. The breakfast that came with the room was the best we have ever encountered. We could order off the menu which had a good selection w/ great coffee and fabulous service!

A real treasure of an inn, restaurant and tavern in such a historic seaport.

Adorable location, no elevator, no "amenities" to speak of but a good location and the bar is convenient. The staff is mostly very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend.

What a jewel on Oxford St. Wild about our room and the attention to detail used in the decor. Our welcome was personal and thorough. The location was ideal for the areas we wanted to see like the historic district.

This was a fabulous place to stay for 2 nights before my cruise. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Service was excellent and friendly. The breakfast was included and it was great! Highly recommend this place if you’re in Southampton!

The location is fantastic. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with all the amenities. The breakfast and dinner menus provided excellent options and the foods was delicious. Great selection of beers on tap, too. The restaurant staff and hotel staff were all extremely attentive and friendly. If we get the chance to return to Southampton, we will definitely stay at The White Star. Note: the hotel is at the corner of a hopping night spot on weekends. It can get noisy.

What a find! Loved this place from the moment we clapped eyes on it. Positioned right at the entry to restaurant row Oxford Street, the theme is definitely in keeping with the mammoth impact and relevance of the Titanic to Southampton but without any cringey cheesyness that one might fear in a themed setting. Lovely staff are welcoming and helpful, room utterly delightful, and the breakfast was truly THE best we’ve had at any stay in the UK. Thank you for having us (at such short notice!).
