Our family of 4 had an absolutely perfect stay in the 1 Bedroom Signature Room at Suwa Villa Arenal. If you are traveling with teenagers, this layout is fantastic—our teenage boys absolutely loved having their own space up in the little loft area. The villa itself is beautiful, and we especially loved having two private patios to relax on. The property is stunning—a true little paradise tucked away right off a busy La Fortuna street, giving you the perfect balance of convenience and peaceful seclusion. The outdoor common kitchen area is lovely, and we ended up enjoying dinner out there a couple of nights during our stay. To top it all off, our host was incredible. We unexpectedly lost hot water one night around 11 p.m., and she responded immediately, getting us back up and running in no time. We highly recommend Suwa Villas and would absolutely stay here again!

This was definitely our favorite stay while staying in Costa Rica. It was a beautiful villa and upon check-in we were welcomed with fresh coconut water and then got connected to wifi and got all set up. The wifi was great, so there were no issues. Our stay was amazing! Would recommend a million times, the only tricky part was with transportation, it is not as popular, so we had to choose the Falafel hotel, and they would still pick us up right outside, as they are right next to each other, but other than that, it was amazing.

Suwa Villa Arenal was delightful! A little oasis amid the bustle of La Fortuna. It has an inside/outside vibe--the rooms are inside (and air conditioned); the hallways, kitchen and common area are outside and covered, and there are beautiful planted areas (with big trees, a pool, and some outdoor amenities) that are outside but within the walls. One morning I sat in the common kitchen and listened for fifteen minutes to the birds in a large adjacent tree. We really did use the common kitchen and dining area to store and prepare food, and we also used the laundry--very helpful after a sweaty day of hiking! The rooms are not large, but they are well laid out and elegant. I would highly recommend Suwa to anyone visiting La Fortuna.

Its a great place for relaxation. I only stayed one night but i loved it. Its a great spot for romantic getaway.

Great location, very central to downtown la fortune (walkable) and a short drive away from any activities in the area. Host was very helpful .

Suwa Villa exceeded my expectations, they were so accommodating the property was beautiful, friendly staff, great location! I would definitely recommend!

Everything about this spot is great. Walking distance to main square, lots of food options, and accommodations were incredible. The room was clean and private with a common area and shared jacuzzi. Staff was very welcoming and made us feel at home

Clean , great facilities. Outdoor kitchen was well prepared for making meals. Hot tub (not heated) was a nice surprise. Hosts very efficient and responded well to any requests. Coffee making facilities in room as well as kitchen. Close to lots of sodas, restaurants etc. washing and doing facilities useful. V small outside private space with room but quite small and just screened from communal kitchen. All in all woukdcrecommend

Free laundry, nice space, great location

From the moment we stepped through the front door, it felt as if we had entered a spa or oasis. The entire space is welcoming and comfortable. Our room had an outside terrace surrounded by lush plants. The room is thoughtfully designed and works well. The bed, pillows and bedding were conducive to sleeping. The rain shower was a pleasure. The common area includes a kitchen, which we used to make our breakfast as well as a washer and dryer, an appreciated extra. Our hosts were extraordinarily helpful, making excellent suggestions and booking activities, as well as restaurants. They responded quickly to all of our questions and requests. This was truly one of the nicest times places we have ever stayed at. We would highly recommend and look forward to our next opportunity to stay here.
