Spectacular sea view

I don’t understand all the good reviews for this hotel. I’ve stayed in 4 hotels so far on my trip in Greece, and the other 3 were excellent - the other 3 looked liked the photos, excellent communication and customer service, clean, and great value. This property is close to Syntagma Square for the train station which was convenient, but there are lots of train stations in Athens. Yes - I was out most of the day sightseeing but I want a clean and comfortable room to sleep in and this was not. Check in process was not smooth - I ended up having to go to Enattica’s sister hotel - a 10 minute walk away - to speak with someone as they did not respond to WhatsApp and did not email check in instructions, as advertised on their listing. (There is no reception at this property but their sister hotel has reception). Reception told me that I did not receive the email because I booked through Expedia - so ?! The laundry advertised was a washing machine that was filled with what looked like hotel laundry, so I couldn’t use it. I couldn’t find the “communal kitchen” that was advertised so could not make a coffee in the morning. The floors were sticky and there was visible dirt and stains floors/walls/furniture. There was lots of hot water - that’s the only good thing I can say about this hotel. I’m just glad I was only there one night - was a transfer between cities - I much preferred a different hotel I stayed in for a couple nights when I first arrived in Athens.

Está en una zona muy céntrica, tiene parada de tranvía, metro y el camión del aeropuerto a 3 min caminando. La zona es segura incluso de noche, pues siempre hay gente y policías cerca. Está a dos calles de la calle peatonal principal (Ermou) y cerca de varias zonas populares y turísticas. Siempre me atendieron en tiempo y forma, el responsable respondía mis mensajes y las chicas de limpieza siempre amables. Recomiendo 100%

Great location

The room was not clean. Bathroom need cleaning. Common area was not expected.

I found the the property to be a perfect location for my short time in our friend allowed me to walk everywhere to restaurants and bars and sightseeing with local restaurants around the corner from the building and a local train station and bus transport to and from the airport

Excellent location near Syntagma metro. Walling distance to most attractions. Bathroom clean, bed comfortable. Iron and washer, drying rack availabe. Clerks in the office very polite and helpful. However, there was no table or desk in the room. Furniture cheap or old. Finish of the workmaship (tiles, paint, floor poor) Kitchen in common area for 7 rooms, so it may be busy. Very noisy all night, windows did not block the noise. Needed ear plugs to sleep well.

We had an email 24 hours before our stay stating we had to pay a city resiliency tax before we would be given our code to access our room. The problem we had is that the link they gave us was broken and wouldn’t accept payment. We tried multiple devices, web browsers and payment cards but it wouldn’t go through. This meant that when we got there we had to walk to their other site to pay and get the details and walk back as this particular location doesn’t have a reception desk. We also had a problem with the plug in the sink that couldn’t be lifted out so water took a very long time to drain. Plus the toilet leaked and we often found we got wet socks and shorts while sitting on it as the pressure/weight must have released a crack or something. We also heard a lot of noise at night. I know it’s in a busy city but it almost sounded like the windows were open and didn't isolate sound much. The location was great and the bed was fine. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep it’s fine for the price.
