The room was clean and was just ideal for an overnight stay before we catch the boat to Koh Lipe in the morning. The staff were very welcoming, they can converse in English and Malay. Location is perfect for the boat to Koh Lipe, around 5 minutes walk from the hotel. There are plenty of places to eat in the area - good seafood restaurants. There is a 7 Eleven nearby too. I would strongly suggest that do not book the boat ticket direct from the hotel to avoid any issue trying to board at the jetty. We bought return tickets Pak Bara - Koh Lipe for 1400Baht. When we got to the jetty we were told by the boat company that the hotel does not have their own boat and use other company's boat but this company wasn't informed of our seats. The boat company told us that the person sold the tickets to us must come to the jetty to confirm. After back and forth, they let us board. We were worried of the return but we found the name of the company on the receipt and board with no issue despite we were very worried throughout the holiday. The best way to get the tickets is to buy direct from the boat company at the jetty. The hotel provides a parking space for us to leave the car whilst we were in Koh Lipe for 100Baht per day but do expect to come back to your car with marks and scratches.

Best Hotel Resort is completely fine for what it is—a stopover while waiting for the ferry to Koh Lipe or other islands. The room was clean, a good size and spartan. The staff was very friendly, and we were even able to get our bags transported to the Park Bara pier. Across the street is a very local and incredible breakfast place with people crafting authentic South Thai food in fron of you for $5 (fed 2 people).

Family run business, very good value . A short walk from Pak Bara pier

Room is not the same with pictures. So old,towels is so old too and toilet is tink.

Cheap and comfortable

It is what is is, for the price is so basic but what do you expect. The staff where all every friendly and the food was delicious! The town is silent around 6pm and there nothing to do. We arrived around 4 but there nothing to do. If I was doing a stopover that side again I’d definitely stay here again
