It was not clean. We had to leave after Checkin for them to clean it. Then when we came back later at night it was still dirty smelling and we left after 2 hours with headaches and congested lungs. I have photos of the hair and there were also spider webs blocking the walkway with large brown spiders. It was not a clean or nice place. Air conditioner was also noisy.

Virtual check in didn't work and had no response to my messages to the hotel or expedia. Ended up sleeping in my car.

We stayed because we were going to a concert at the amphitheatre. The location is great so central to everything. The pool area was nice and quiet. Room were clean and ac on point. Great hotel.

Air conditioner was extremely loud and had trouble keeping the room cool.

Clean rooms and very nice pool.

Cool, old school property with a great vibe. Landscaping could be upgraded but the room was quaint, fun and clean

I passed by the Local the last time we visited St. Augustine and thought it looked so cute, I knew I wanted to stay there next time we were in town. Also, the location to shops & restaurants around St. Augustine is perfect! Our room was clean and had everything we needed, the pool area was cute and kept up nicely (& being 8 months pregnant I really appreciated the large flamingo float), and we even stopped into the lobby to have a complimentary latte. We will be staying again!

A bright light directly outside room made it bright enough to read at night. Staff said nothing could be done to turn off light. Towels are old and frayed. We had to call hotel to get check in info even though they said it would be provided prior to check in. Lastly, ac barely works. Not enough power for Florida summer.

The pros were that the room was clean and most importantly the bathroom was clean! We were able to walk just a mile over the Bridge of Lions to St. George Street which was nice and convenient. The cons were that the a/c wasn’t very cold, the parking is kind of tight, the WiFi didn’t work (which was not a biggie), and lastly it was frustrating not being able to get towels when we needed them. Overall it was a nice stay and a good location.

This was a great motel close to all our favorite places in St. Augustine. We could walk to Old Coast Ales and Osprey Tacos. Don't miss these two places! The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious enough for our family of 4. The pool area was fun for a quick evening swim with our family. The pool could use a little clean up but still a nice area. The lobby had a nice little area to sit and restroom. The coffee machine in the lobby made lattes and cappuccinos as well as a regular cup of coffee. Nice to have the options. There is not an ice machine for coolers but there is ice and water for reusable cups in the lobby.
