Spacious room with modern appliances and well equipped. The cabin itself was in need of maintenance, with flaking paint and rotten skirting, which detracted from an otherwise satisfactory experience. View from our cabin was restricted by the roof of a hotel in front of the cabins, which was disappointing as the view is magnificent. No BBQ facilities.

It states they will text the combination on the sign for us to get a key. They communicated with the third party who I booked through - I didn’t access the app.. I realise I should have. We were travelling no internet anywhere though so was confused when we got there. Thick dirt along bed line. Dirty oven pan. Leaking fridge. Fly screen would not close. People seemed nice enough as they called after we got in and again 2 hours later asking if I’d got in. Very close to walks great situation.

Close to national parks, bushwalking and viewing of platypus. Not a lot of bird life to be had - arrived in the clouds and mist, departed the same way with some rain thrown in. Wi-fi and TV connections were non-existent during our stay - many drop outs and breaking up of signal.

The cabin was very clean and check-in and out was really easy. The decor is quite dated but very well equipped if you want to self-cater. Bedside lamps would be good in the bedroom and more information in the property guide would be good e.g. which cabin bin to use for rubbish, which one for recycling, where to get laundry powder for machine etc. Eungella National Park & various walks are super close and absolutely stunning. Viewing platypus in the wild is only a 5 min drive away from the cabins. Would go back.

Not a great start. We arrived, had not received a text re cabin access and nobody answered the phone. When checking with Eungella Chalet we discovered that whoever input the dates into their systems had made a mistake. We had no accommodation for first night - dates a day ahead. Fortunately the lady at the chalet managed to find a one night stay at Broken River 5km away and the wonderful host there, Wen, welcomed us plus said she would work out payment with the cabins. Once we were in our cabin, the next day, we were impressed with the amenities but found that the cabin itself had some mould around shower, door frame was rotted and glass sliding door couldn't be locked from outside. There was also an intermittent drain smell wafting around outside. There was no view when sitting on the patio, would need to move chairs out onto lawn between cabins. Bed was comfy and kitchen had everything necessary to self cater. Lounge chair was also very supportive.

We had a great time, the cabin was perfect and had everything we needed, will definitely stay again!!!!!

For the price it could do with updating, and cleaning better. Great location!

Good accommodation in great location. Contactless check-in was easy. Unfortunately the pull out sofa bed did not have any linen.

Eungella Cabins has the most spectacular view of The Valley, words cannot describe how beautiful it was. It is incredibly serene, and you feel like you’re in a little slice of paradise. It was only 5 minutes walk away from some of the walking tracks, and a 10 minute drive away from the Broken River walking tracks and platypus watching areas. It’s right next to the Eungella Chalet hotel and restaurant, so it makes getting a good feed incredibly easy. The contactless check in and check out makes it a quick and easy process. There was also a beautiful ginger cat roaming around that was incredibly friendly too!

The cabin although clean and a comfortable sofa was not good. The sliding door on the bedroom was off its runner so wouldn’t slide shut properly and the bathroom was old and full of ants. An enormous colony of huge bats live in the trees at the side so the noise was constant.
