Great place, great location. Note that checkin is at a hotel 5 - 10 minutes from apartment so if you don’t want to carry your bags up lots of stairs, ask the reception how to get to the apartment without using the stairs or use Google maps ( wheelchair access) to find the flat route, although still slightly uphill,

Beautiful apartment in the historic district of Coimbra. My family of four had the fourth floor apartment which did not have an elevator. Although it initially seemed intimidating, we were able to manage it and the staff assisted us with bringing the luggage upstairs. If you have any physical limitations, make sure you arrange to stay on a lower floor if possible. The area is beautiful, with lots of restaurants, shops, and pharmacies. I would definitely stay here again.

Easy check in process with partner hotel which was opposite Coimbra A bus drop off from train station. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious apartment right in the heart of Coimbra. Well equipped with everything you could need including washing machine. Only stayed 1 night so couldnt really make use of all the amenities but would be fantastic for longer stay.

Stayed in 4.1 suite and it was an entire floor. It’s a beautifully restored original building. Clean and spacious. The floors are creaky because it is an old building but adds to the character. Would stay again and definitely recommend for families with several children. Team provided a list of restaurants and recommendations that was also very helpful

Beautiful location with live music at our doorstep, enjoyed from our Juliette balcony. Many steps keep you fit.

Central, clean, spacious , many included amenities! Exceeded expectations

The apartment is great - you have to walk and go up some stairs from the hotel but it is worth the effort.

Parking was in an underground carpark near Hotel Oslo but the instructions to where and how to park should be given in advance. There are plenty of parking slots inside and like most carparks in Portugal spacing is tight but manageable.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding stay in Coimbra – highly recommended! We traveled from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Coimbra, Portugal, and our stay at Rua Apartments exceeded all expectations. We stayed in Room 3.1, which was very comfortable and cozy for a family of four. The living room, kitchen, and dining area were excellent, spacious, and very well equipped, making our stay easy and enjoyable. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring the historic city of Coimbra. What truly made the experience exceptional were Waldira and Ricardo. From the very beginning, they were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful, always going the extra mile to make sure we felt welcomed and supported throughout our stay. Their hospitality made us feel at home in a country where we were visitors. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Rua Apartments to anyone visiting Coimbra.
