Basic room but large and airy -not too far from York centre -parking great Staff wonderful -great value

Did the job. Staff were helpful in conversting a sofa bed in our room.

It was perfect for what we needed, nice and close to town, a large room and lovely ensuite bathroom and comfortable beds. The owners were great and allowed us access to the room early as we needed to get to an appointment. All round great.

The noise was terrible all night – a loud rumble like a car engine, either from the boiler or water tank. Traffic roars through the open window and keeps me awake, but closing it makes the room stuffy. Everything else at this price point is great, yet I couldn’t sleep a wink. I’m really disappointed.

Room was as expected. Was good to have a fridge and it was very large

A pleasant stay here, the rooms were spotless, the beds very comfy and an easy bus ride straight into York centre. Parking out the back, would definitely stay again

The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Room was very spacious, with comfortable bed & very clean.

Microwave would have been good

The facility was great and very convenient for our visit to York. The staff responded to our questions before the visit and it was easy to check in. The rooms are very spacious.

We booked 2 rooms and both were comfy, clean and so handy to everything. Beds were comfy and there is nothing I could recommend to improve our stay
