The place was clean and tidy, with enough towels such that we could enjoy the onsen baths indoor and out to the fullest! There was Nespresso provided which was a nice touch, and a vending machine on the property. We would gladly stay here again. Would note however that the check-in process gave me some anxiety due to it being the first time using them, though it was easy in retrospect. Also the clothes dryer doesn't dry well in spite of running a full cycle - so that's something to keep in mind if you were thinking of doing the laundry while you sleep. Finally, I parked at night, and the path from the parking to the villa was unlit, making it a rather creepy experience if you are walking alone. Good otherwise!

Big villa, but could be hard to find. Long walk to parking (2 block), and several steps outside the door made it very hard with big luggages. Amenities very new. Though steps are big and could be hard to climb. Dryer doesn’t work very well.

I highly recommend! We loved the in-villa sauna and soaking bath. The property was spacious, serene, clean, and everything else needed for a family of 5 to relax and sight see in the area.

Excellent location, lovely villa, private, new and very clean, comfortable bedding. Onsen is awesome, relax your body after a long day. Parking is convenient once you locate it. Kids enjoyed the loft. Highly recommend for peace/quiet from city hustle.

The unit was clean and well equipped for an extended stay. There were plenty of beds for our group of 5. We enjoyed our short stay and would certainly stay again!

The place is very nice. Quiet, onsen, kitchen, rooms, it is the entire apartment. Clean, easy to check in even though its self check in. Just print all your instructions. Now, even with the kitchen, there isnt too much of a option to get food to cook. ImBus to get there can be confusing for foreign visitors but once you figure it out, it is easy. Really enjoyed Hakone and this place made it even more enjoyable.

For a slightly larger group, the price is worth it. But we only had two adults and one 12-yo kid.

Super nice place. Like one of the nicest places I’ve stayed. 10/10 on the actual unit and amenities. But. The communication with the company was a challenge. The confirmation email they send comes from a non-functioning email. The message function on Expedia isn’t answered in a timely manner. And they are completely inflexible with early check-ins. So even though our room was clean and ready, we were forced to sit on the ground outside of the room until exactly 3pm. The bus drops you on the side of a mountain road. With our bags. So we didn’t really have a choice. It would have been nice for them to have some flexibility (we would have happily paid more for the early check-in) or at least have a way to get in touch with the company with a timely response to clarify the zero flexibility. If you come here, don’t show up even 1 minute early. And ideally come with a car. It’s possible on public transport but it was… alarming to just be dropped on the side of a busy mountain road.
