Amazing hotel in an amazing city. The kitchen and free coffee was particularly great given the high cost of eating out in Switzerland. Highly recommend this hotel!

The commons area & kitchen were the best! Great to experience multi cultural interaction that i don't find in 5 star hotels!

This was such a cool and unique place to stay. The common rooms were cool and the coffee was amazing. The rooftop terrace is a must to experience the view and the sunset. Would definitely come again.

Great location and staff. Just not used to getting key to building/room online. But, staff ended up helping with that too. Nice coffee machine!!!

Good clean room, hotel very convenient for old town Bern, For those travellers who like to cook own meals good communal area that others were enjoying

Location is in the middle of the old town right next to one of the plazas where markets and festivals can be held. Only 10-15 min walk from Bern train station. Across from Starbucks if you care for it. And no worries, no all-night loud music like some cities in Europe. Everything is packed up by 6-7pm. My room was small but comfy and enough for my needs. Would love to have a refrigerator in the room, but the communal refrigerator and the shared kitchen were great (everyone/all guests were respectful during my trip except a few who left their used dishes in the sink.) Extra love for the roofdeck where you could watch sunset with a 360 degree view. All staff members were very helpful and gave me a bunch of good ideas to enjoy my Swiss journey. The hotel setup is unique: self checkin via mobile phone (with staff assistance if needed). So, make sure you have your phone services ready.

The room was quite small for 4 people, and we had to sleep with phones being recharged with cords across pillows due to lack of outlets. I didn't know there were common rooms until the next morning, due to the virtual check-in experience, but the woman monitoring the breakfast area was helpful and pleasant, and came up with me when my door remained locked. I missed having a proper reception desk though. Décor in rooms by...IKEA?

Room was clean and as advertised. AC was great and a relief from the heat while we visited! Convenient location in proximity to the train and tons of food options around. Short walk to grocery as well. Communal space for group dinners, heating up food, well stocked communal kitchen and amenities for coffee, tea and water in the common space was great. On site contact was very helpful with suggestions for exploring and anything that was needed.

Easy online check-in with very helpful staff providing recommendations on what to do in Bern. Stay Kooook Bern was conveniently located within the city with access to public transportation (free pass provided) while still easily walkable. Great location. Fantastic staff. Useful amenities. We would definitely stay here again.
