Very simple accommodation but great location

There were 77 steps in this hotel, no elevator and carrying luggage up the steps was really annoying. The staff was not cooperative, not ready to store your luggage without a charge. The photos are completely deceptive and the hotel was unclean. Nobody comes for the maintenance of your room. And it is like a horror film once you enter. There were 5 doors to open and old fashioned keys to open each door. In my opinion it was like an escape room. This was a terrible stay. Some good things were the location and the bathroom.

Really clean room and was already air conditioned when we arrived. Check in was really easy and simple. Convenient location. Highly recommend

The property was in a great location. Be ready for lots of stairs. Dragging our luggage up the steps was the hardest part

The room itself is in a great location in Florence, although a little inconvenient to get in an out as you have to walk up several flights of stairs and go through several locked gates. However, it is within close walking distance to several major attractions and restaurants. The room was small, but clean and maintained. Check-in was also slightly inconvenient as it is a few blocks away, and they also charged us for luggage storage since we arrived 2 hours before check in, which I've never had a place do before. Overall though, it was a good place to stay and I would stay there again.

The shower flooded whenever you turned it on and the staff did nothing to attend to the problem. Additionally this hotel is right next to all the study abroad party clubs and bars…. SOOOO LOUD WITH SCREAMING ALL NIGHT LONG!! It is a shame because it is a pretty building.

No working remote for TV., emailed 3 times no one showed up. Shower drain clogged, was over flowing shower pan. Contacted 3 times no one showed up. FYI on how many stairs to room would have been nice. Very noisy street, hospital down street, lots of screaming Building does have charm

Lots of stars, staff was accompanying, did not like five keys to access the room, location was great, lost of noise from street even from the third floor

Broken glass left on the floor, I was bleeding out, we tried to contact staff and they were dismissive. There was a constant rattling and banging noise coming from somewhere which made feel very scary and annoying to sleep.

Good location close to the Duomo. Spacious but basic. The terrace was nice
