Stayed at Posada del León de Oro for two nights and it was lovely. They front desk folks were lovely and helpful and held out bags because we arrived early. Our room was bigger than I expected and very modern in contrast to the building and neighborhood. The room has AC and an amazing shower. The neighborhood is quiet at night and even in the morning it wasn’t loud. Lots of restaurants options and super accessible to several metro stations and walking distance to many attractions including La Plaza Mayor. Would not hesitate to go back.

I just spent 2 nights solo in Madrid. Perfect little hotel in an amazing walkable location. Kind staff and the room was very clean. Not a very fancy experience but great value and amazing location.

Property location exceeded expectations. It was central to most tourist attractions. Unfortunately, The room was very small and smelled musty after long day’s absence. the room was situated one floor above the restaurant and bar and it was noisy till 12 midnight. Our saving grace was that the hotel restaurant closed for two days during our stay and we were able to get some peace in quiet.

Fantastic boutique hotel right in the middle of the best bars/tapas area in Madrid. We were on the 1st floor and couldn't hear any street noise with the door to the balcony closed.
