Great breakfast, looooved the pools!!! We had a wonderful stay

This would be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The whole nightmare started with the welcome we got when checking in. The local Thai receptionists were fantastic but there was one receptionist (I think South African or Germany) was so rude and the way she treated my partner and I we cut our stay short. We had planned to spend five days at the hotel but left a soon as we could get a flight out. During the checking out process with Thai receptionist could not have been any more help for quite They also offered to credit one of the nights I’m not sure whether hotels.com will forward that credit to me? This hotel just treats you as a number not a guest

Beautiful resort with an amazing beach on the property. Great food and beautiful views.

Would 100% recommend staying at the Sunwing Bangtao Beach. Fabulous location, amazing staff who are so accomodating and friendly.

Great atmosphere and environment, friendly staff and great food.

Great for families. Pretty central on the island. My kids loved it, has everything they need. Would probably not stay without kids as it’s a real family resort. Staff and amenities are all great. Can swim in the direct beach and plenty of pool options!

Great resort. Beautiful and close to the beach

Noisy, bad location, the beach nearby was not nice, and the food was average at best. Maybe a good place for families with young kids - they had an active kids zone and free activities for kids. I wouldn’t recommend it for relaxation or luxury by any means.

Great location for those who want to sit back and relax. Beach access cannot be beaten. Great family atmosphere and terrific ambience. Unfortunately, the rooms are nearing their use-by dates as they beginning to show their age:- cupboard doors not closing; taps very stiff. Also, the hot water in the taps was dangerously hot. None of the pools were accessible as there were no steps nor ramps in any of the four pools. Rooms not accessible with wheelchairs (though they stated that their engineering department could install a ramp). Their website needs to be updated around Accessibility to reflect actuality.

Best for families with kids
