Staff were fantastic - but- our booked twin room had a tiny window and was quite small. The staff did point those out so we were not unduly surprised. However the shower broke. First becoming locked on very hot and then completely seized. We were offered the only other twin options. One in a basement the other where they told us that there was no cold water to the the basin. ! We actually chose this over the basement however for 3 nights it was not ideal - having scalding water to a basin with no cold available as tap was broken ! Would we stay again ? Probably not but must give staff 100 percent for doing there utmost to sort. When the first room shower broke the receptionist came IMEDIATELEY to try and sort (Friday 9 pm ) top marks for staff but let down by poor / non functioning rooms

Well situated

This is a prime location, the breakfast was better than I expected, I loved the 24hr tea/coffee. Rooms were clean and decently comfortable - just on the smaller side. The A/C unit didn't work properly, but other than that - very decent stay, well worth the price and would come back for a short trip.

This hotel was a very excellent rest for tourists. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to London!

No frills London hotel for under $100 per night inludes a simple breakfast of tea/coffee, cereal and toast. 10 minute walk from Earls Court tube station. Although dated, it's tidy and the staff helpful. Ideal for the solo traveler looking for basic accommodation.

The experience is horrible, the staff is aggressive

Hotel Oliver is a welcoming, clean, friendly and perfectly placed hotel. If you are wanting brand new with pool and sauna, this is not for you. If you want comfortable, welcoming and very comfy beds, this is your hotel. We had a room at the back and a wonderful view of greenery and massive trees. There was no road noise at all, only birdsong. The two receptionists we encountered were extremely welcoming. There is a dining room where we could make a drink any time of the day or night. (There is a fridge in the room where you may have to grab extra milk) Breakfast was boiled eggs and lovely warm toast with spreadable real butter. I don’t eat meat and there was meat and cheese also. There was also granola. A good cup of tea also. The breakfast was simple but I liked not having to decide what to have that early in a morning. Possibly more choices but I didn’t see. Polite, helpful dining room staff. A short distance from Earl’s Court Tube. Very useful.

Curtains would not close. Paper thin walls. Squeaky floorboards everywhere, but I do take into account the age of the property.

Breakfast option was poor. There was no hot water in the shower but boiling hot water only from the tap?! I couldn’t take a shower. The road noise was so loud that I couldn’t sleep. Really not happy with my stay here and would expect a refund for the above

Nice size room. Friendly staff. Tasty breakfast. Parking not close by so something to be factored in.
