This was a great location. The staff were super helpful leadung up to check in. So easy for us to walk where we needed to. We got upgraded to the family room which turned out to be a bonus for when my partner gets up at stupid o'clock, it meant he didn't keep me awake. I would stay here again if i ever find myself in York again.

Like a good quality hotel, but on a residential street. A significant walk to city center, but good value for money.

Absolutely fantastic stay, really enjoyed the room. The air con was a god send and the communication via WhatsApp was great. Close enough to the city for a steady walk in. Highly recommend and will stay again

Clean, quiet, nice shower. Though I left my toothbrush behind :( Best night sleep in ages!! Would stay again in a heart beat.

Clean, comfortable room in a location giving easy access to the centre of York. Not really for 4 grown up people though. More like 3. Perhaps 2 adults and 2 children would've been OK. The second bed was small.

The room was meant to be soundproof but could hear next door for starters, then we seen it wasn’t a king size bed but two single beds put together which wasn’t very comfortable to say the least. Also two of the rooms I’d say are used for permanent residence. Then passing pedestrians through the night was noisy was irritating to say the least. We couldn’t work the heating system for the room.

Highly recommend. Comfy beds. Room spotless 10 min walk in to the centre.

Ended up not staying here, as there was a glitch in the booking process. However, I've given 4 stars to indicate that the host was very helpful and sorted things out for me very well.

Well located to walk into the city or short Uber.

Enterance could do with a freshen especially the carpet , but easy to enter , comfy bed , lovely en suit , poss stay again
