Ubicación perfecta 5 estrellas . Por lo demás mucho que mejorar , el edificio en malas condiciones , elevador viejo con problemas , escaleras en mal estado , cuartos muy poco acomodados .

Hostal Veracruz pictures a beautiful bedroom with a beautiful view , it’s not true . The room is very small . There are no special amenities . No refrigerator, ironing board or iron in the room . There is no WiFi to watch a new movie , no water , you have to go to a tiny office to buy water from a machine for two dollars . No laundry service either . I would not recommend this place for the amount of money they charge . You get a view to the an alley with bars , that’s the view you get not what they advertise.

Excelente zona muy bien ubicado

The location was phenomenal. Close to lots of tourist attractions and food spots. The room was clean and we felt safe. The only down side was the room was a bit tiny for 2 people but worth it due to the location and there was an elevator.

Really amazing location, but be prepared for noise outside until pretty late!

Changed my sheets and towels every day first experience in a hostel room was satisfactory although I could’ve used a small refrigerator really the only problem was that my room was above a bar and it was noisy until about 3 o’clock in the morning

I enjoyed a lovely private room in this hostel with a floor to ceiling window / small balcony overlooking the street and stylish decor. The shower was also nice and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff weren't the friendliest but were helpful when I needed to put food in the fridge, microwave something or store my suitcase, and one of them found me an adapter for my phone charger as well. The location is excellent, just one block from Sol and the Metro station there and walkable to some of the landmarks in Madrid. I definitely recommend this hostel as a reasonably priced place to stay in the center of it all!

Nice room, clean, and in the center of everything. Many options close by to eat and activities to go to.
