I stayed in a single room for three nights. It was a perfect, affordable alternative to staying in a hostel. The room was clean and had all the basics. The shared bathroom and shower worked great. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful and cleaners tidied the room every day. I strongly recommend Hotel Tolbiac for any solo travellers looking for an affordable spot to stay, especially if you’re hostel’d out and looking for a little privacy.

It was difficult to access upper rooms with luggages, there isn’t any lift, only stair. The room was clean but a Little bit small. We appreciate our stay

This really is more of a hostel than a hotel. The toilet is in a different room down the hall from the shower, and neither are in your room. The staff hold on to your key when you leave. The location is good for transport, but there aren’t many creature comforts. The staff do their best to improve the space and keep things clean, but it is an old space with old infrastructure.

This is unashamedly à “budget” hotel by Paris standards. No frills expected and none found. But it was reasonably clean, secure and I got a good night’s sleep. I didn’t sample the breakfast as you can get coffee and croissant almost anywhere. Staff were helpful when asked.

The location was excellent because

Location was good. No lift and no air conditioners or fan. Even though the website did mention fan provided. Not advisable for elderly or disabled.
