Walls, ceilings had many dirt marks and cobwebs. Door to water closet has filthy hand marks which I removed in 5 seconds.
Curtains were filthy and/or ripped. Blind in kitchen didn’t work at all. They did not suit the layout of the windows and entryway. No privacy without blocking light.
Zero greeting including check in for a 5 night stay!!!! A posted note on the office door and an unlocked door to a room was all we got. I had requested a room on the upper level many months before we arrived. Didn’t get it or any message indicating this was not possible.
Overall impression was not friendly.
Motel looked quite dilapitated.
I’m not sure how the ratings changed so rapidly since I booked. I would never have booked this place if the reviews weren’t favourable.

Yes the staff were great and room was nice and clean. Just needs a few things sorting out. The free standing lamp wasnt working in the lounge. The kitchen sink tap was loose. Curtains in the bedroom were worn with holes and need replacing. Otherwise all good
