Todo espectacular, muy limpio, excelente servicio, las habitaciones hermosas, grandes y cómoda. Lo único que no me gustó que no tiene playa.

I really appreciated the warm welcome from Juli and Digna. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Their kindness and willingness to help made us feel right at home. The room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely porch overlooking the ocean. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job keeping everything spotless, and they were just as helpful and friendly as Juli and Digna. The only downside was the potholes in the driveway, which made driving in and out a little difficult. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting St. Croix.

We really enjoyed our time in our villa. We appreciated being able to relax on our patio to watch the waves and enjoyed viewing the stars at night. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed eating at the restaurants at the hotel, especially the Japanese food on the Thursday night of our stay. We will definitely return to Grapetree Bay!

The only accurate comments to most of the other reviews was the clean room and good food. Not what I was looking for specially based on the excellent rating. Two restaurants and bars but only one opened at a time. The beach was not able to enter due to the fact that it is all rocks no sand really. The pool was nice but after 3pm you had to o to the lobby for food and drinks. There is nothing available after 10pm when the bar closes and the front desk closes. The convenience store really is only useful for some water and soda. The property is waterfront but the swimmable each not that easy of access. The better beach is on the other side of the Island. No elevator, so it was difficult with my luggage on the steps. Not a pretty place.

So one thing to remember here is that the property was built in the 60’s and sat for quite a while but with that said the rooms were immaculate…. Some of the resort does needs some updating like the pool which has a liner and sometimes it feels like you are walking on a sponge, but it was clean and well kept. We were a little surprised as the marketing made it seem as though it was a much bigger property than it is. They do serve three different types of food from the same kitchen. The food was excellent from all perspectives and the serving staff was so attentive and concerned that we were happy with the service. Another little issue we were presented with is that the power was being repaired as the facility is fully sustainable but the power went out a couple of times and we had to ask what was happening. It would have been nice if we were notified about the issues prior to arrival. I’m sure they are working to get it back to normal. They are working hard to get the property in order and you have to remember this resort is right on the water and the peace and serenity are quite admirable and we wouldn’t have changed that for anything. Julie was amazing and offered some complimentary things due to the power outages which we were very appreciative of that. She is caring, compassionate and really concerned about your stay and is quite the conversationalist. We enjoyed our conversation together. The entertainment was top notch..! This place is amazing!! All of the staff are warm and welcoming. The power did go out once but I’m not complaining. The staff never missed a beat! Oh and the food……THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. It didn’t matter if I ordered an appetizer, pizza, or dinner, I was always pleasantly pleased. I normally don’t pick a place to stay that far away from the airport but I will choose them every time from now on. My room was spotless, decorated nicely and just what I needed for my solo birthday getaway. I’ve been to St Croix about 7 or so times in the past year and always look for new places to stay but my search is over. See ya soon guys!!!!

I love the room. It was spotless and well laid out. We had a lot of room. The balcony was wonderful. The view was wonderful. The keyless doors were great too. The air conditioning in the room worked perfectly. The staff was very helpful and lovely. The little store on site had a lot of nice last minute things. Amenities, drinks, snacks, souvenirs, and toiletries. The drawbacks were pretty minor but here they are: the water pressure in the shower was very low, so don't use a whole lot of soap. The hallway floors get very slippery because they are in the open and absorb moisture from the air. Be careful. There was a loud clapping sound that was outside of our room randomly throughout the night. Never figured out what it was. Also, there are a few dozen stray cats that live on property, and sometimes fight at all hours of the night. The restaurant is very good. I have Celiac, so there's only one menu item on there that I could eat. So if you have Celiac, or gluten sensitivity so are problems with wheat, be forewarned. There really is no beach at this hotel, so you'll have to drive elsewhere. The pool is very good. Sometimes it was cloudy though. I would rate it a 9 out of 10. The driveway leading down to the parking lot is in really bad shape. The parking lot is okay. A bit rustic like most of the rest of the island. But be careful on the sloped driveway, especially going down. Overall, it's a very nice place to stay.

We loved this place. It was quiet, remote, which is what we love and had all the amenities we needed. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely would go back! Beautiful place and island!

Decent stay with friendly staff

Everyone we encountered were pleasant and helpful. The food was great. As a senior, this facility was very remote when touring the island and driving on the left side of the road was challenging at times. Also, the elevator doesn't work so getting to the other levels was challenging. Julie, the manager went out of her way to accommodate us.
