Alex was awesome as a host. Took very good care of me. Beers are cheap in the lobby as well.

I booked two rooms for three adults more than a month in advance. However, upon arrival, the night shift staff claimed the booking was only for two people, implying one room for one person. I had to show my Expedia confirmation, after which he made a phone call to someone who spoke English. The whole process was unpleasant and stressful, even though the booking clearly stated three guests. After a lengthy argument and review of the booking details, he finally agreed. It felt as though he was trying to ask for additional money. Room allocation was also disappointing. One room was given on the third floor, while the room for the couple was assigned to the eighth floor, even though the elevator only goes up to the seventh floor, requiring us to carry our luggage up one floor by stairs. Additionally, the room on the eighth floor was significantly smaller than the one on the third floor, which felt unfair given that both rooms were part of the same booking. The daytime receptionist was polite and helpful, but the night shift staff was very unprofessional and unwelcoming. Overall, the stay was negatively impacted by poor communication and unfair room assignment, despite having a confirmed booking made well in advance.

I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone

place is somewhat hidden ,but is safe.very clean.staff was very friendly and helpfull in giving info as far as tours were concerned.. and helped in arranging tours. was picked up at hotels doors for all tours.Do recommend this hotel

Very nice & clean room. The staffs are friendly and helpful with tours. Great location in the Old Quarter, east walking distance to shops, restaurants & the nightmarket. Would totally recommend it!

We got a free upgrade to a family room because they had run out of the smaller rooms that we booked. The room was big and nice and comfortable, although the bathroom was a bit old and tired and needs updating (soap dispenser falling off the wall, and shower holder doesn't point the shower at you properly, so have to hold it). Still, not a bad place if you get a decent rate.

Stayed 3 nights, one room was very larger with a good bathroom, but the other room had a shower on the wall which wet the toilet etc when it was used.

Friendly staff and well run. we missed two of the three nights booked due to our visa but the hotel was obliging and let us stay three nights from arrival, which they did not have to do. We found multiple cockroaches in our room on the first night and the bathroom floods as there is no seal between the bath and the wall. We also found it odd the key must be given to reception when leaving the hotel at any time. Mixed experience but comfortable room.

It's no wonder that this hotel has had numerous Tripadvisor excellence awards, an incredible value hotel the price of a packet of cigarettes in most European countries. Central location, clean room, lift WIFI, friendly English speaking staff, and everything you could want. This was good, as others staying at this hotel will find out.
